Celebrating the Success of Our 5th Indigenous Service Providers Event

The Noojmawing Sookatagaing Ontario Health Team is honoured to reflect on the success of our 5th Indigenous Service Providers Event, which welcomed more than 400 attendees from across the region for a day focused on connection, collaboration, and community.

This milestone event brought together Indigenous leaders, Indigenous Service Providers, organizations, community members, and Indigenous craft vendors to strengthen relationships, share resources, and support collective efforts to improve the health and well-being of Indigenous peoples throughout Northwestern Ontario.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Indigenous leaders who shared their knowledge and guidance, the service providers who showcased the important work happening across our region, and the talented Indigenous craft vendors whose creations added vibrancy and cultural richness to the day. Most importantly, we thank every participant who attended and contributed to making the event such a meaningful gathering.

What began as a small opportunity to connect service providers and communities has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, demonstrating the ongoing commitment to partnership, relationship-building, and improving access to culturally safe and coordinated services.
