If you do not have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, or they are unable to provide you with gender affirming care, you can access in-person or virtual care with NorWest Community Health Centres.
ForiaClinic
Provides free virtual gender affirming services to trans and non-binary people (16+) in Northwestern Ontario (regions of Kenora, Rainy River and Thunder Bay) through a partnership with NorWest CHC, including hormone therapy and surgery assessments. Thunder Bay Youth Wellness Hub
The City & District of Thunder Bay Youth Wellness Hub is a free, confidential, no‑judgment space where youth can get support for mental and sexual health, school or job advice, or simply relax, connect, and unwind at their own pace—no appointment needed.
