Who should attend?
Regulated healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes advanced wound management and who want to build skills in conservative sharp wound debridement, minor surgical procedures, biopsy, and suturing.
Cost & Requirements
Prerequisite: online course Best Practice Approach to Skin Health and Wound Management: Knowledge (A100MNN) - $165 + HST
OR an existing credential: SHARP, AWCCP, IIWCC, SWAN, NSWOCC, or MSc-WH
Hands-on Skills Lab: $325 + HST (includes faculty instruction, materials, and follow up webinar)
Mini Offloading Clinic & Workshop
A hands-on session on offloading and Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) management covering:
DFU assessment
Evidence-based offloading principles
Hands-on application of offloading devices
Case discussions and strategies to improve healing, prevent recurrence and limb loss
