eReferral Ontario

eReferral Ontario is a provincial digital platform launched by Ontario Health in August 2025, that enables the secure and seamless electronic transfer of patient referral information between health care providers and specialists or other health service organizations. Referrals are created, submitted, tracked and managed digitally through a secure, integrated system, replacing paper-based processes, reducing administrative burden, improving transparency and streamlining communication for providers and patients.
